Havre de Grace has offered amazing Independence Celebrations with the first mention we could find in 1885 – first called Firemen’s Parade, later Independence/July 4 Parade. In essence: COMMUNITY!
Havre de Grace has been recognized in Harford County and around the State of Maryland for their outstanding July 4th parades. We offer a wee bit of history – including mention of a nice parade as far back as 1885.
