As you walk our community’s streets, I know you will sense the pride we have for our city. I can only hope that each of us, resident and visitor alike, will leave only our footprints and take away a wonderful feeling of joy and neighborliness.
As long as folks can sit on a park bench, chat in a local coffee shop, share a meal, shop downtown, paddle, sail or motor the waters, enjoy a historic lecture, watch a parade, or just … watch people, they will surely have experienced a sense of place.
